Privacy Notice on Data Processing for the Validation of Seat Features
These notices provide you with information concerning the processing of your personal data by RECARO Aircraft Seating GmbH & Co. KG in relation to the validation of seat features in accordance with Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as your rights under data protection law.

Purposes and Legal Basis for Data Processing
We process your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), and all other relevant laws.
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Personal and company-related Validation of the presented seat features with respect to market relevance
- Product enhancement
- Personal and company-related evaluation of interest in various seat functions
- Advertising communication and sending of further information
The processing of your personal data, such as name, email address, position, company, selected materials, functions, and technologies, is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. a of the GDPR.
The consent to process your personal data is voluntary. Participation in the validation of seat features is not possible without processing your personal data.
Categories of Recipients of Personal Data
RECARO Aircraft Seating GmbH & Co. KG employs the Innovations Department of the RECARO-Group, which is part of the PUTSCH GmbH & Co. KG, as a data processor to assist us in conducting studies and analyzing data.
Data Transfer to a Third Country
The transfer of your personal data to third countries will only occur within the RECARO Aircraft Seating group, which may transfer your details to the respective subsidiary responsible for you in the USA, China, or Hong Kong.
Duration of Data Storage
Your personal data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for achieving the purpose of their processing. This is regularly the case once the validation of seat features has been completed and analyzed, but no later than two years thereafter.
Data Subject Rights
You have the right to request information about the data stored about you at the above-mentioned address. Furthermore, you have the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability.
Right to Withdraw Consent
If the data processing is based on consent, you can withdraw the given consent at any time with future effect. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before its withdrawal. Withdrawals should be sent to innovation@recaro-as.com.

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of direct marketing.
