ŚWIEBODZIN, POLAND, JANUARY 27, 2026 RECARO Aircraft Seating, a global leader in aircraft seating solutions is expanding their Świebodzin facility this year with an expected completion date of Q3 2026.

As part of the major project space2grow and 20 years after its opening, RECARO Aircraft Seating Polska announced a site expansion to manage growth in the industry. RECARO, market leader for economy class seats, continues the path of “in the region for the region” which signifies the long-term commitment to the local community through infrastructure development and growth within the Świebodzin region. This expansion aims to meet market demand and customer expectations as the aviation industry advances, including supply chain needs and future development opportunities.

To accommodate the growing industry needs, production and logistics areas will be doubled to almost 18,000 square meters. Additionally, the office space will more than double to almost 5,000 square meters, bringing a modern working environment and increasing employees’ wellbeing.

To further enhance site capabilities, technological advancements will be introduced alongside the expansion. This will include an automated warehouse system which will allow for an increase in accuracy of materials sent to the lines and improved manufacturing times. In addition, intelligent space management will be utilized for optimal layout and functionality within the warehouse and is expected to contribute to lower operating costs. Each of these measures ensures high flexibility for rapid adaptation in changing order volumes and response times to market and customer demands. As a result, these changes will answer the needs of the market as well as current and future demand.

“This is a milestone moment as we enter the 120th anniversary of RECARO,” said Dr. Mark Hiller, CEO of RECARO Aircraft Seating and RECARO Holding. “The expansion of our facility in Poland is a standout way to answer the growing demand in the aviation industry.
