Comfort “Made by Recaro”

This is why Recaro is spotlighting its presence this year with an exclusive exhibition stand at the international aerospace event.

“The demand in the Middle East focuses on high-quality aircraft seats that offer plenty of comfort and technical features,” Behnert explains. The Recaro product portfolio presented in Dubai is tailored to meet these criteria. Highlights on display at the airshow include the Crystal Cabin Award-winning CL3620 Economy Class seat. This model sets new standards in ergonomics and design. The seat on display at the exhibition shows how Recaro Aircraft Seating has successfully integrated state-of-the-future IFE systems. “The Recaro CL3620 has been approved for all Boeing 787 variants,” says Behnert. “Even in the new Dreamliner, the seat now demonstrates how convenient travel, comfort, and extra living space are possible in an economy class cabin.” The single-beam design results in a slim silhouette that gives passengers much more legroom compared to conventional seats – even with a narrow seat pitch. An ultrathin backrest ensures excellent seating comfort, while the stretch fabric in the headrest and foot net help make air travel a more pleasant experience.

“The German based company stands for unique quality and ingenious design ‘made by Recaro’,” explains Behnert. “The seat design combines comfort with lightweight construction and added living space – and proves that these factors don't have to be mutually exclusive.” Recaro is presenting an award-winning example of this principle in Dubai. The Basic Line 3520 economy class seat for short-range flights clearly meets these standards and was honored this year with a Crystal Cabin Award in the Industrial Design/Interior Concept category.

Exclusive Recaro seat comfort is also available in business class – as demonstrated by the Recaro Comfort Line 4420 on display at the Dubai Airshow. This long-haul business class seat offers a variety of standard features, including leg rest, foot rest, and an electrically adjustable backrest that can be ordered with a pneumatically-controlled lumbar support and massage function.
