Change in the management of Recaro Aircraft Seating
Andreas Lindemann, Chief Sales Officer of Recaro Aircraft Seating with responsibility for Sales, Program Management, and Customer Service, as well as Finance and Administration, has decided after more than eight years of successful work at Recaro Aircraft Seating to resign from the management board as of December 31, 2014 in order to take up new challenges outside the Recaro Group. This step is being taken on amicable terms with the Shareholder of Recaro Group Martin Putsch and the Chief Executive Officer Mark Hiller.
Starting on January 1, 2015, the tasks of Andreas Lindemann will be carried out by the experienced executive management team, consisting of Mark Hiller, René Dankwerth (Research and Development), Joachim Ley (Supply Chain), and Peter Müller (Finance and Administration). Responsibility for Sales, Program Management, and Customer Service will be assumed by Mark Hiller.
After senior positions at Airbus Group (then EADS) and the former DaimlerChrysler Group, in 2006 Andreas Lindemann took a management position at Recaro Aircraft Seating, assuming responsibility for the areas of Finance and Administration. In this role, he was responsible for a major comprehensive strategic and organizational realignment, which was successfully completed in 2008. Since April 2012, he was also responsible for Sales, Program Management, and Customer Service. Recaro Aircraft Seating has reached an average sales growth of more than 10 percent per year in recent years. In 2013 sales reached 337 million Euros.
“In his management functions, Andreas Lindemann has contributed significantly to making Recaro Aircraft Seating into a well-positioned company with good growth prospects. I thank him sincerely for his work and wish him well for the next step in his career and private endeavors,” says Martin Putsch. “I am sure that our experienced executive management team with Dr. Mark Hiller at its helm will continue the path of success of our company together with all employees.”
“After more than eight exciting, eventful, and successful years with Recaro Aircraft Seating, I would like to take on a new challenge,” explains Andreas Lindemann. “I will have fond memories of this time and wish the best for the company and all employees. I extend special thanks to Mr. Putsch and Dr. Hiller as well as all my colleagues in the Recaro Group, with whom I was able to work with confidence for the benefit of Recaro Aircraft Seating.”
