All-embracing premium comfort

The CL6710 is Recaro Aircraft Seating’s flagship for long-haul applications. At around 80 kilograms, it is one of the lightest business class seats on the market. It is intuitive to use, offers generous stowage space and direct access to the aisle for every passenger. Its seat length, seat width and various seating positions invite passengers to stretch out and relax. At the push of a button, the seating area transforms into a completely flat bed. Position changes are made at an ideal, predefined angle that optimally and safely supports the passenger’s body in the seat at all times. The CL6710 makes the most of the available space and opens up a bed length of more than 82 inches with a seat pitch of 46 inches.

With an app on a smartphone or tablet, passengers can tailor their seating position and other seating functions to their specific needs, and even save information for future flights. As an intelligent seat, the CL6710 business class seat can optionally transmit its operating status digitally to the ground personnel. This enables, for instance, maintenance intervals to be made more efficient for the airlines.

The comfort factor for passengers on board also plays an important role on short and medium-haul routes. With this in mind, Recaro has two innovative seat models in its business class portfolio. Both models, the CL5710 and the CL4710, feature a variety of stowage compartments for personal belongings. The seats can be equipped with state-of-the-art, in-flight entertainment systems. All power, audio and USB ports are integrated in the center console and easily accessible for the passenger.

The CL5710 offers superb passenger comfort thanks to a lumbar support, an extendable legrest, various predefined seating positions and an integrated massage function. It is the only business class seat for short and medium-haul routes that is electrically adjustable and approved for Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 aircraft. The CL4710 features a calfrest that is adjustable in length and angle to adapt to each passenger’s leg position.

The generous inclination angle of the backs of both seats and the six-fold adjustable headrest ensure optimum comfort. Additionally, each seat has its own armrests, from which a large tray-table with tablet holder can be folded out.
