Offering simple elegance for discerning passengers

The new CL4710 is the result of more than 40 years of cumulative experience in the construction of aircraft seats: highest-level seating comfort and sophisticated, well-designed controls make the business class seat a real highlight in the skies, turning short- and medium-haul flights into a real pleasure for every passenger. The resting position with its generous recline, footrest and customized cushions provides true relaxation and enhanced comfort. Personal armrests, which you do not have to share with your neighbor, numerous storage compartments, cup holders and surfaces as well as the generously sized two- piece tray table are what characterize this exclusive business class seat. Conveniently integrated into the in-arm table is a tablet holder with a power outlet for passengers’ personal electronic devices. A flexible headrest enables you to lean your head against it sideways when seated in a resting position.

“Alaska Airlines and Recaro maintain a very intensive and trustful business relationship. This partnership of innovation helps us make our products ever better and effectively advance Alaska’s course for growth using our durable and reliable seats in all classes. We are very pleased that we are able to get such a strong foothold in the American market by installing the CL4710 in the aircraft of this top airline,” says Dr. Mark Hiller, Chief Executive Officer and Shareholder of Recaro Aircraft Seating.

Recaro was the first European aircraft seat manufacturer to establish a production site in the USA in 1998. In 2013, the size of the manufacturing facilities in Fort Worth, Texas, were more than doubled to cover approximately 250,000 square feet, and the annual production volume increased to more than 30,000 seat units. Currently more than 400 associates are employed in Recaro development, production, logistics and customer service in the U.S. Dr. Mark Hiller: “With its proximity to the largest aircraft manufacturers and airlines in the world, the U.S. site plays a strategic role in the international Recaro production network.”
