Recaro opens Customer Center in Dubai
Schwaebisch Hall, Germany/Dubai. Recaro Aircraft Seating is strengthening its presence in the Middle East. In January 2014, the aircraft seat supplier will open the Recaro Regional Customer Center Middle East in Dubai. This will enable the company to offer airlines in the Middle East and Africa comprehensive services just a short distance away.

Recaro Aircraft Seating opens manufacturing plant in China
Schwaebisch Hall, Germany/Qingdao, China. At a festive ceremony on October 24, 2013, Recaro Aircraft Seating officially inaugurated its new Chinese manufacturing plant in Qingdao. The Recaro location in Shandong province will produce aircraft seats for the local market, with production already beginning this year. This makes Recaro Aircraft Seating one of the first international aircraft seat suppliers to produce in China.

Airbus transfers complete responsibility for quality control of A380 seats to Recaro
Schwaebisch Hall. Effective August 9, 2013, Recaro Aircraft Seating has assumed complete responsibility for source inspections of seats for the A380 long range aircraft on behalf of Airbus. This makes the company not only the first Airbus supplier in the world authorized to carry out supplier source inspections for a product used in the A380, but also the first seat manufacturer authorized to do so for all the seats it supplies to Airbus.

Reinhard Bretthauer wins “Recaro Supplier Award 2013"
Schwaebisch Hall, Germany/Swiebodzin, Poland. For the fourth year, Recaro Aircraft Seating has distinguished its best suppliers. The Reinhard Bretthauer company based in Dillenburg, Germany, managed to win the “Recaro Supplier Award” for the second time. On June 6, 2013, the award ceremony was held in Swiebodzin, Poland, at the 5th “Recaro Aircraft Seating Global Supplier Conference”, in which more than 100 supplier companies participated.
