On the road to success: the Recaro CL3710 for the economy class

Schwaebisch Hall/Hamburg, Germany. Since its premiere in 2013, the CL3710 from Recaro Aircraft Seating has been in a steep ascent: Nearly 20,000 units have already been ordered. Later this year, the first long-haul aircraft will take off with the economy class seat. Thanks to its innovative features, the product also made it to the finals of the international industry prize Crystal Cabin Award 2014, which will be bestowed on April 8, 2014, at the Aircraft Interiors Expo. At the exhibition, Recaro Aircraft Seating is showing its highlight product with new features.

Lindemann elected to the executive committee of the German Aerospace Industries Association

Schwaebisch Hall/Berlin, Germany. Andreas Lindemann, Chief Sales Officer of Recaro Aircraft Seating, has been elected to the executive board of the German Aerospace Industries Association (Bundesverband der Deutschen Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie, BDLI). The aircraft seat supplier is thus represented in the association’s top governing body for the first time.

Recaro invests in flexibility and speed

Schwaebisch Hall, Germany. To provide more flexibility and speed, Recaro Aircraft Seating has invested three million Euros in the systematic expansion of component manufacturing. With the most recent acquisition – a punch/laser machine – the aircraft seat supplier is further increasing its competitiveness. On January 31, 2014, Recaro employees officially put the new machine in Schwaebisch Hall into operation.

Dr. Mark Hiller Becomes a Fellow Partner at Recaro Aircraft Seating

Stuttgart, Germany. Dr. Mark Hiller (41), Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Recaro Aircraft Seating GmbH & Co. KG, will in the future also be involved as a fellow partner in the Schwaebisch Hall premium aircraft seat manufacturer. Dr. Hiller will successively acquire shares in the manufacturer of high-quality aircraft seats on a performance-based model over a period of 25 years starting in 2014.
