Premieres for Recaro Aircraft Seating in China
Schwaebisch Hall, Germany/Qingdao, China. Successful production launch at Recaro Aircraft Seating’s Chinese location: Following certification of the facility in early 2014, the first BL3520-RAC seats for the economy class have now rolled off the assembly line in Qingdao. They have been delivered to China’s Shandong Airlines, which will use them in its new Boeing 737 fleet. The first aircraft equipped with the seats took off in July 2014.

Fort Worth, Texas/USA. Sunitha Vegerla has been appointed as General Manager of Recaro Aircraft Seating Americas, Inc. Sunitha Vegerla will assume her new role as of June 1, 2014. She will succeed Dr. Mark Hiller, Chief Executive Officer of Recaro Aircraft Seating, who took over management of the site on an interim basis.
