More spaciousness and comfort with Recaro’s Flex Seat concept
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany. The “Smart Cabin Reconfiguration” concept, a collaborative research effort between Airbus, THK and Recaro, was nominated as a finalist for the Crystal Cabin Award 2017. The innovation from Recaro is called Flex Seat. With a simple sliding seat concept, seat spacing can be increased for passengers when flights are not fully occupied. To this end, the proven and award-winning SL3510 economy class seat for short- and medium-haul flights is simply folded up, and the front seat rows are then pulled apart like an accordion to increase the seat spacing. This results in significantly more space for passengers. German aircraft manufacturer Recaro Aircraft Seating is presenting this world premiere at the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2017 at the beginning of April in Hall 7 / Stand B20.

Five stars above the clouds
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany. At this year's Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, German aircraft manufacturer Recaro Aircraft Seating will be presenting its new “five-star package”. With this package, airlines can offer passengers added value in terms of comfort while working efficiently and economically. Customer Service, FlexSeat, Wellbeing, Antibacterial Solutions and iSeat are the five new stars above the clouds. They demonstrate the innovative strength, quality and customer orientation of the premium seat manufacturer and world market leader in economy class seats, which will be exhibiting at the show in Hall 7 / Stand B20.

Premium comfort for the A330neo fleet

Tigerair selects Recaro SFE seats for its new Airbus A320neo aircraft
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany. Recaro Aircraft Seating, the German aircraft seat manufacturer, has gained another major selection from Asia: At the end of July 2016, Tigerair from Singapore selected Recaro’s 3530Swift SFE (Supplier Furnished Equipment) economy class seats to equip new Airbus A320neo aircraft that it has on order from Airbus. For Recaro, this latest order from Tigerair represents a volume of 3,800 seats for 20 A320neo shipsets.
