Recaro delivers another 4,100 aircraft seats to TAP
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany and LISBON, Portugal. Germany's largest aircraft seat manufacturer and world market leader in economy class seats is delivering a further 4,100 innovative and comfortable aircraft seats to Portugal. The collaboration between Recaro Aircraft Seating and TAP Portugal will be further expanded. Following the Portuguese airline’s successful retrofit program in 2016 with Recaro’s lightweight SL3510 and BL3530 seats for their Airbus family of short and medium-haul flight aircraft, as well as the order of CL6710 business class seats, Recaro’s award-winning CL3710 seat will be entering TAP’s aircraft cabin.

Recaro supplies around 8,000 units of business and economy class seats to Shenzhen Airlines in China
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany and SHENZHEN, China. Recaro Aircraft Seating receives a major order from China and continues to expand its market position in the region: Shenzhen Airlines orders 8,000 units of CL5710 business class seats and BL3530 economy seats for 37 Boeing 737 MAX linefit and 14 Airbus A320 aircraft retrofit. The comfortable light-weight seats will provide premium quality seating on short- and medium-haul flights in the Asian region from 2018.

Gulf Air selects Recaro to supply Economy Class seats for the airline’s incoming fleet
HAMBURG, Germany. Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, has appointed German aircraft manufacturer Recaro Aircraft Seating to supply Recaro CL3710 economy class aircraft seats for the airline’s 10 new Boeing 787-9 aircraft and 29 Airbus 320/321neo aircraft. The contract, which is valued at over 35 million euros, was signed at this year’s Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg.
