LUDWIGSBURG / SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany – A great success for Recaro Aircraft Seating at the "Focus Open – Baden-Württemberg International Design Award": the aircraft seat manufacturer was honored with the "Focus Special Mention" award in the Public Design category for its BL3710 seat. Company representatives were presented with the award on October 12, 2018 in Ludwigsburg. The award-winning economy class seat can be seen at the Stuttgart Design Center exhibition in the Ludwigsburg MIK Museum through November 25, 2018.

Skymark selects RECARO economy class seats
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany / TOKYO, Japan – Skymark Airlines is equipping three Boeing 737-800 aircraft each with 177 BL3530 short-haul seats from RECARO Aircraft Seating. In total, over 500 RECARO seats will be installed. The first shipset delivered in June of 2018 and will fly beginning in August.

Air China is launch customer of A350 in Mainland China and opts for Recaro economy class seats
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany / Beijing, China – Air China ordered 2500 CL3710 economy class seats from Recaro Aircraft Seating for their ten new Airbus A350 aircrafts. China´s flag carrier is the first operator of the A350 in Mainland China.
