Shandong Airlines and Recaro Aircraft Seating celebrate long-term relationship and joint success at AIX
AIX, Hamburg, Germany/Shandong, China, 2 April 2019 – In 2014 Shandong Airlines was the very first airliner to order aircraft seats from Recaro’s production facility in Qingdao, China. Since then, both companies have grown significantly. The joint collaboration also recently led to a first retrofit modification program of 25 Boeing 737NG. To celebrate this joined success and the long-term relationship the top management of Shandong Airlines and Recaro organised a ceremony at AIX in Hamburg today.

Recaro raises the bar for comfort in the sky

SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany, 25 March 2019 – While the global passenger seat market will grow with an average five percent per year, RECARO Aircraft Seating expects a spike in demand for business class seats in particular. A trend further fueled by passengers’ expectations for airliners to deliver ‘individualized living spaces’ onboard. To be fully ready to answer market needs, RECARO has invested heavily in its R&D for business class seats.
