SCHWAEBISCH HALL, GERMANY, JANUARY 14, 2025 – RECARO Aircraft Seating (China) Co., Ltd. (RECARO) received the 2023-2024 Best Seat Supplier Award from Japan Airlines (JAL) for their outstanding after-sales support and their embodiment of the Japanese service culture of “Omotenashi”. A term originating from traditional Japanese tea ceremonies, which describes the concepts of hospitality and mindfulness. Usage of the term gained international awareness after the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo and has since become a service industry benchmark.

RECARO AIRCRAFT SEATING RETROFITS FINNAIR EMBRAER E190 AIRCRAFT WITH R1 AND R2 SEATS
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, GERMANY, NOVEMBER 18, 2024 – RECARO Aircraft Seating (RECARO) was selected by Finnair for a cabin retrofit of 12, Embraer E190 aircraft with the RECARO R1 and R2 Economy Class seats. This will be the second Embraer program to feature the R1 and R2.

SCHWAEBISCH HALL, GERMANY, NOVEMBER 13, 2024 – RECARO Aircraft Seating (RECARO) and Iberia have achieved a significant milestone in their ongoing partnership with the introduction of the A321XLR and the new RECARO R3 Economy Class seats on Iberia’s Madrid to Boston route, with the inaugural flight happening tomorrow. As the launch customer for the award-winning R3 seat, Iberia will outfit eight A321XLRs with a total of 168PAX of R3, set to enhance their transatlantic East coast bound flights.

SCHWAEBISCH HALL, GERMANY, OCTOBER 16, 2024 – RECARO Aircraft Seating (RECARO) hosted the 13th annual Global Supplier Day to recognize suppliers who go above and beyond while exemplifying the RECARO standards. During the conference, RECARO shared a business update and outlook with attendees. Additionally, inspiring workshops were held alongside an exhibition featuring various marketplaces. The highlight of the event was the awards ceremony, where accolades were given in five categories – Sustainability, Newcomer, Customer Service, Production Material, and Non-Production Material – based on a suppliers overall performance throughout the year.
