Double award win for Recaro economy class seats
AIX, Hamburg, Germany, 3 April 2019 – Recaro Aircraft Seating, a global supplier of premium aircraft seats for airlines and OEMs, won a Crystal Cabin Award last night. The company was hailed for its “Sleeping Comfort in the Sky”, a holistic approach in the economy class long range. Recaro also received a prestigious Red Dot 2019 Product Design Award for its BL3710 economy class seat.

Up until today it was available only as a cabin lighting solution. Through this exclusive partnership with jetlite, Recaro is the only seat manufacturer worldwide to explore the potential of individualized Human Centric Lighting integrated into business class seats.

Shandong Airlines and Recaro Aircraft Seating celebrate long-term relationship and joint success at AIX
AIX, Hamburg, Germany/Shandong, China, 2 April 2019 – In 2014 Shandong Airlines was the very first airliner to order aircraft seats from Recaro’s production facility in Qingdao, China. Since then, both companies have grown significantly. The joint collaboration also recently led to a first retrofit modification program of 25 Boeing 737NG. To celebrate this joined success and the long-term relationship the top management of Shandong Airlines and Recaro organised a ceremony at AIX in Hamburg today.

Recaro raises the bar for comfort in the sky
