Alaska Airlines orders Recaro BL3520

Schwaebisch Hall, Germany/Dallas-Fort Worth, USA. Alaska Airlines and Recaro Aircraft Seating announced today that the carrier is the North America launch customer for the Recaro Basic Line 3520 seat. The seat will be installed on all of Alaska Airlines’ new Boeing 737-900ERs scheduled for delivery beginning in fall 2012 through 2014.

Lufthansa’s B747-8 Intercontinental takes off with Recaro seats on board

Schwaebisch Hall/Frankfurt, Germany. On May 2, 2012, Lufthansa took delivery of its first Boeing B747-8 Intercontinental aircraft in Frankfurt. On board are economy class seats from Recaro Aircraft Seating. The aircraft seat supplier is providing more than 5,000 Comfort Line 3520 seats to equip Lufthansa’s new B747-8 Intercontinental aircraft, as well as additional 5,000 seats for retrofitting its existing B747-400 fleet.
