Your Tasks
- Introduction of the quality perspective into the projects, risk assessment from the point of view of departments & customer (representation of the other quality departments in the project) through sound knowledge of standards / specifications (including EN/AS 9100, EN/AS 9102, etc.)
- Preparation and release of the First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) according to AS/EN 9102 and Quality Inspection Dossier (QID)
- Testing/evaluation of passenger seats against FAIR & QID
- Derive expressed and not expressed customer requirements (Lessons Learned) into inputs for new projects
- Management of customer acceptance tests
- Development as well as implementation of concepts and measures to ensure quality standards
- Initiation of corrective actions if required
- Visual inspection and functional testing of passenger seats using conventional and specific measuring equipment
- Coordination and monitoring, as well as active introduction of proposals for countermeasures in the event of deviations in interaction with the specialist departments (FAI/CSI)
- Implementation of quality assurance plans (QAP) for new developments
- Creation, review and release of construction deviations (MRB) in the Head of Version (HoV)
- Review and approval of MRB changes within the MRB Authority to ensure compliance
- Evaluation of design changes (DC)
- Preparation of test plans (including measurement sheets for seats, seat foams, etc.)
- Testing, evaluation and approval of seat covers during prototype development and of reset samples for seat covers
- Further development of the processes for which the team is responsible
Your Qualification
- Completed technical university studies or comparable, ideally in the field of aviation / mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience in quality management, project management or industrial engineering
- Initial management experience would be an advantage
- Experience in compliance and enforcement of quality assurance measures
- Demonstrable qualifications in quality management
- Knowledge in preventive assurance and optimization of product quality
- Confident handling of SAP S/4
- Very good MS Office skills
- Strong communication skills and goal orientation as well as a structured way of working
- High level of initiative and willingness to take responsibility
- English (advanced) in spoken and written
- German (business fluent) in word and writing
- Experienced handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Reading/experienced handling of 2D drawings
- 3D basic knowledge advantageous
