Your Tasks

  • Technical management and coordination of interdisciplinary technical teams within modification development projects
  • International customer communication for technical coordination and support of project managers on technical issues
  • Innovation management for customer service engineering projects 
  • Check specifications (e.g. Seat Definition Book) with regard to technical feasibility in relation to quotation specifications as well as correctness in accordance with customer communication
  • Deriving work tasks from the specifications and handing them over to the project team, external service providers or independent processing (including design changes)
  • Assisting in the preparation of project proposal/budget determination, business case, benchmark, capacity requirements, target cost and weight 
  • Sizing of new parts with consideration of technical constraints and selection of optimal manufacturing process
  • Assist Sales in preparing proposals for modification projects including feasibility review and coordination with other department (Testing, Sales, etc.) and customer 

 

Your Qualification

  • Completed technical studies in the field of aerospace engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in technical project management, development and certification of passenger seats
  • Ideally knowledge of relevant standards and regulations of the aerospace industry
  • Knowledge of Catia V5
  • Knowledge of PLM system (Teamcenter) desirable
  • Good English and German language skills, both written and spoken
  • Goal orientation and communication skills as well as initiative and problem solving ability
