Your Tasks

  • Writing specifications for seat covers, foam parts and other sewing groups
  • Participation in the optimization or new development of module components, including the preparation of the necessary documentation as well as the support of the technical drawing creation in CATIA V5
  • Carrying out cover determination in cooperation with our suppliers at home and abroad
  • Development of prototypes from the first draft to the start of production
  • Close cooperation in a cross-departmental project team, for example with colleagues from the purchasing, ergonomics and certification departments
  • Systematic further development and optimization of existing processes

Your Qualification

  • Completed studies in the field of textile or garment technology or a comparable qualification as well as relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge in the field of cutting and industrial processing of textiles as well as in the field of trim & finish
  • Ideally experience in foam parts and plastics production as well as metal processing
  • Good knowledge of a CAD 3D system, preferably CATIA. Ideally experience in working with design databases
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken, and willingness to travel internationally to visit our suppliers and customers
  • High level of independence and personal responsibility as well as strong decision-making skills
  • Accurate and careful way of working as well as strong communication skills
