Human Resource Manager

Overview

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for directing all of the people functions of the organization in accordance with the policies and practices of the organization, regulations and administrative rulings of governmental organizations and other regulatory and advisory authorities and organizations. The incumbent must have a strong background in compensation practices, talent management practices, and HR law. The incumbent will also be responsible for strategic Human Resources planning as a continuous effort to position the company as an Employer of Choice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and advice to all functions of the Human Resources Department.
  • Provide guidance and advice on all aspects of employee relations to leaders and management.
  • Manage the budget and other financial measures of the Human Resources Department.
  • Evaluation of the Human Resource division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) for individuals.
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization's Human Resources department.
  • Evaluate and advise management on the impact of long-range planning of new programs, strategies and regulatory actions.
  • Develop strategies to assist managers in identifying talent within the organization
  • Develop training models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs for the filling of the gaps. Areas of activity will include talent management through proper succession planning programs for key contributor and management positions, training and development programs for preparing employees for more significant responsibilities and general business development programs to enhance employee knowledge and understanding of the organization and industry.
  • Configure ongoing HR strategic and operational plans to directly reflect the company’s strategic and tactical business plan.
  • Identify appropriate and effective external sources for candidates for all levels within the company.
  • Coordinate with management in developing programs that provide motivation, incentive, and reward to employees for effective performance.
  • Develop programs to allow the organization to embrace applicants and employees of all backgrounds and to permit the full development and performance of all employees.
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization with the management, your department and the employees in order to be an effective listener and problem solver of people issues.
  • Responsible for development, enforcement, and compliance of the organization’s employee handbook and Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Manage the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) database and necessary reports to ensure accuracy. Advise on improvement of programs, policies, practices and processes associated with meeting the strategic and operational employment needs of the organization.
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance through various educational platforms (webinar, seminar, conference…etc.)
  • Provide technical advice and knowledge to others within the Human Resources discipline and the management team of the organization.
  • Manage the budget and other financial measures of the Human Resources Department.
  • Evaluation of the Human Resource division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) for individuals.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Human Resources or a related field; 10-12 years of experience in Human Resources with at least 2 years leadership experience.

Certificates and Licenses:

HR certification highly preferred.
