Facilities Project Manager

Overview
The RECARO Facilities team is looking for a Facilities Project Manager to lead office and pilot plant related capital and expense projects across the Fort Worth site. You will lead projects ranging from driving capital investments-such as new office build outs, office remodels, and facilities equipment installations-to expense projects such as demolition and decommissioning of office spaces. This is a role in which you will partner with cross-functional teams and departments. You will engage with stakeholders throughout all phases of project planning through execution, simplify our operations, and help lead us towards the future state of our workplace.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, develop and coordinate drawings, plans, information, scopes, and projects that promote the growth and improvement of the Fort Worth RECARO site.
- Collaborate with other RECARO sites to promote global facility standardizations, branding and environmental consistency, building systems, equipment standardization, and resource and process sharing.
- Participate and plan facility construction project contracts to achieve balance between performance and cost in compliance with RECARO values, standards, and guidelines. Oversees vendor performance during assigned projects ensuring all contractual, financial, quality and service delivery standards are met or exceeded.
- Promote a safe work environment for employees and contractors by communicating expectations, maintaining positive KPIs and driving accountability that is aligned with an empowered behavioral based safety foundation.
- Coordinate site events, setup, and planning associated with facilities support activities. Organize and structure information intake, planning and scheduling of vendors, delegation of tasks, visual communication installations, and coordinating support staff during the event.
- Develop project scopes, solicit and create bid comparisons. Prepare special reports on key large-scale projects. Support the implementation of site 5S projects and initiatives.
- Maintain site as-build CAD files and distribute as necessary to departments to support growth plans and improvements.
- Develop proactive emergency preparedness plans and countermeasures to promote employee safety and business continuity. Creates and conducts audits to measures effectiveness of plans.
- Develops new types of facility improvements designed to sustain the development of ESG and environmental conservation initiatives, and ISO 14001.
- Coordinate space management projects, optimization of seating, parking, and offices while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations and company policies.
- Promote constructive dialogue with departments to promote cultural changes associated with projects that involve process changes. Develop tools necessary to acquire necessary information, to identify and communicate project KPIs, and set clear expectations with customers that lead to overall project acceptance and success.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with 5 years of experience; or 10 years of related experience
- Project Management (PMP) preferred
- Lean/Six Sigma Experience preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of OSHA, EPA, local and state regulatory requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, access controls, security, pneumatics, hydraulics, control circuits, etc.)
- Experience in budgetary process and planning
- Experience in construction planning, methods, and project execution
- Able to read and create drawings to support project activities
- Proficient in AutoCAD
