To enhance our team, we are looking to fill the following position at our site in Fort Worth at the earliest possible date:

Assistant Logistics Lead



Provide the Supervisor with technical, personnel and leadership support in performing the daily activities associated with the Logistics department.


 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized workplace; Conduct regular housekeeping audits
  • Support 5S initiatives
  • Ensure an efficient, productive utilization of resources in assigned department
  • Communicate quality issues to the affected department and individuals
  • Support cross training and development of cross training plans in assigned department
  • Work a skewed, shift start (start 1-2 hours after the standard start time) to support the daily needs of the Logistics operation
  • Perform duties of Logistics Lead such as:
    • Organize and assign work to meet the daily demands in Logistics
    • Monitor and communicate the daily attainment of goals in assigned department
    • Conduct daily start up meetings to review daily performance and challenges
    • Ensure the accountability and ordering for consumable needs in assigned department
    • Effectively communicate and elevate issues impacting the daily performance of the assigned department to Logistics leadership, Quality, Supply Chain and Production Review and provide daily KPI reports
    • Participate in daily Shop Floor meetings, within Logistics as well as other departments

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required


  • Qualification of at least 3 skillsets in Logistics, good SAP knowledge and/or 2-3 years of Logistics experience
  • Must be able to read, write and interpret technical drawings and instructions
  • Ability to independently plan and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to learn new jobs in assigned department
  • Ability to solve problems with little or no guidance
  • Ability to organize teams to effectively accomplish organizational goals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
